Speech-Language Pathology

Ruby Home Health Care provides a skilled team to help improve communications skills for patients who have survived a stroke, or heart attack, and suffer from swallowing and speaking difficulties. Our specialists have an individual approach to every patient and choose the appropriate strategies that can help our patients enhance their oral motor skills while also ensuring safe swallowing while eating or drinking.

Speech- Language Pathology Services:

  • Speech-Voice-Language Communication.

    Using speech-language pathology, we help adults improve their speaking techniques to prevent and rehabilitate vocal problems.

  • Cognitive Restoration.

    We provide strategies based on individual abilities so that our patients will not have to feel like thoughts are being lost while speaking or reading.

  • Swallowing evaluation and retraining.

    We provide each patient with individual medical management for their swallowing disorders in collaboration with their referring physicians.
